3. Separable verbs แยกจากกันได้ มักจะต้องการกรรม วางกรรมตรงไว้หน้า หรือ หลัง Preposition ก็ได้ เช่น
Turn on เปิด(ไฟ) Turn down หรี่ (เสียง) Look up มองหา Try on ลองสวม Turn off ปิด (ไฟ) Switch off ปิด Deal with ถอด, ออกดินทาง Example: Please turn off the light before going out. หรือ Please turn the light off before going out.
